Our core focus is the export of premium, specialty quality, and artisan teas; our specialty lies in our control over most of the manufacturing process. At The Tea & Herb Company we have absolute control on the sourcing, purifying, processing and value addition through packaging for all the tea that we export. Therefore we are able to continuously ensure that all our products are at the pinnacle of high quality.
A majority of our export volume currently consists of fresh, unblended, 100% pure Ceylon tea in its virgin state. All our teas go through an express process and are harvested, packed and ready for export in a matter of a few days. In addition to pure Ceylon teas, we are also a supplier of specialty quality Darjeeling, China and Papua New Guinea teas to a select clientele and more recently Herb Teas and exotic spice teas, infusion’s and Tisanes.
As part of our quality and efficiency assurance we have a 3000 square meters state-of-the-art processing plant that covers 2 acres and also houses a warehousing facility and administrative office space dedicated to delivering and constantly perfecting our product. Our sourcing, manufacturing and marketing functions are all streamlined into one location and as a result our business practices are more effective and efficient.
