The Tea & Herb Company is certified against the ISO 22000:2005 certification system which incorporates HACCP principles and compatible with ISO 9001 quality management systems which makes the ideal basis for implementing food safety management system. ISO 22000:2005 is an internationally recognized standard which covers key components for ensuring food safety including interactive communication, system management implementation of pre requisite programs and the continual review and improvement of the system.

The Tea & Herb Company is certified against BRC Global Standard for food safety which is the world’s biggest provider of safety and quality standards programs for food manufacture, packaging, storage, and distribution. BRC Global Standards are recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and achieving certification demonstrates compliance with HACCP, good manufacturing practices (GMP), hygiene, food safety and quality systems. It helps retailers, manufacturers and major brands safeguard consumers and fulfill their legal obligations.

Also The Tea & Herb Company complies with Dutch HACCP which is one of five accepted Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) certifications used to reduce the cost and other pressures of maintaining safety in the food supply chain. The certification is based on a set of principles that uses a process approach for the identification, analysis and management of hazards. It also provides a framework around which a food safety management system can effectively be based.

The Tea & Herb Company has its presence in The United States of America and also holds FDA registration. FDA stands for the Food and Drug Administration, a government agency responsible for the safety of food, dietary supplements, human drugs, vaccines, blood products and other biological, medical devices, radiation-emitting electronics, cosmetics, veterinarian products and tobacco products being sold or manufactured in The United States of America.

The Tea & Herb Company is also certified with IMO and USDA for organic products and complies with requirements laid in both the standards.
